Thanks guys... I guess I will have to bite the bullet and get a NEW one then... any idea what typical stall point is for these pickups with a 360? I am guessing 1800~ ish?
I rebuild my C6 last year and replaced the TC with this one from Oregon Performance and Im running 76' FE360/90, it fit like it should and runs great, I have my old one in the shop if you need measurements from it... https://www.oregonperformancetransmi...t/PDQ-F22.html
Im sure you know this, but make good and sure you seat the TC correctly or bad things can happen... Best advice I used was, if its seated correctly you cant get your hand behind it....

Thanks man.... I may take ya up on measurements, will have to hollar at ya if I need them. I read a few places I could use the 1.375 diameter. Not sure how legitimate that is though... but a few have done it. I already measured my crank where the bushing is, and yup... it's the bigger 1.85 size. Heres what is getting mated to...
.
OK... So I lucked out, they had this exact one at vato-zone for a few bucks cheaper, 5 dollar core charge and NO shipping cost (Rock Auto wanted 30 bucks to ship). I have no usable core, so the 5 bucks vs. the 100 dollar core Rock auto wanted was a no brainer.
If anyone else is looking It's part #F23-8. 140 out the door. Stall at 1600-1800, 1.878 Pilot diameter, .96 pilot depth.

Great! That will get you down the road Yeah sometimes the core @ Rockauto is on the steep side IMO and it cuts deep if you don't have a core. I'm glad you got it sorted.

Close, that is not a reliable method of making sure the tc is all the way in.. if you listen carefully, you should be able to hear the pump clicking when you turn it, if you don't, it's not seated.. there should be 3 stages or "clunks" as it goes in
