94 explorer stalls

my 94 explorer stalls. it usually starts right up when cold and runs great til it warms up, then when idling or if you shut it off and try to start it won,t. after 10 -20 minutes it fires right up and everything is fine til next time. have replaced just about everything, MAF sensor, IAC valve, egr, ignition module etc etc etc. driving me crazy. Has anyone else expericenced this problem and how can i fix once and for all.

Using a fuel pressure gauge, check for fuel leakdown. Sometimes and injector isn't closing all the way or the diaphragm in the regulator is leaking, allowing fuel to drain into the cylinders/intake. This causes the cylinders/intake to be "flooded" which causes hard starting. Given time, the excess gas will dissipate itself. A fuel pressure check will also tell you if the fuel pump is coming on and pressuring the system up.
