Yes that is what I need. I cannot find one in Washington State. I do not need one so nice; it would not match my truck and 1K is more than I would like to spend on my driver. Anyone out there with one with a little patina in Washington-- Oregon area, I would be very interested. Thanks for posting things like are nice just to look at!!!
The price is fair. I love the rust at the spot weld seams. I remember these trucks new on dealer lots had orange rust drips in various spots and fish eyes in the paint. How we have come a long way! I would say the 6 month time frame is correct.

I bought a used one in Ellensburg that was an early take-off when they installed a camper. Didn't look like much in the ad. Here's the pictures from Craigslist at the time.
It cleaned up really nice and this is what was painted different for my truck.
I do still have my original tailgate. I could let it go fairly cheap and you may be close enough we could avoid shipping. Two small dents in the original one right on the top edge - almost like the tailgate was open and then the owner backed into something. No serious rust, just a bit of surface. Want more pics of that tailgate?
An FTE member is pursuing this, it matches one of his trucks. If I was in need, I’d simply pay the man his price , or a little less if possible, and go pick it up.

Thanks to the camper boom, these finds are still possible in just about every color combo! Now if someone kept the rest of the vehicle in the garage its whole life since new .............................................
