Beautiful Truck

Great looking truck! Love to see those stock trucks that have been restored....not that I don't also like restomods as well.

Great job and a great looking truck.

Beautiful- just beautiful. Love the painted grille! Don't see many that haven't been chromed, and the original white looks really nice.

Beautiful truck from one stocker to another! I too am glad you painted the grille the original color (snoeshow white) along with the rims.
the rims in 53 and 54 were body color. In 55 and 56 they were snowshoe white. What you need now is hubcaps painted argent with the FORD letters painted red....

Can we see a shot of the rear, I want to see your tailgate.

I will post a few more pics this week....

I have my other grandpa's truck in progress right now, your not going to believe it but it is also a 1955 f100. Amazing I ended up with both of them. My grandpa owned a gulf service station after he got back from the service so this one will have more of a hot rod theme with the logo from the service station on it. When I actually got the truck he had the motor and rear end out of a 67' Mercury Cougar S in the truck.....It was ruined from sitting out in the woods....My cousin originally got the truck when my grandpa passed away....Ive got some pics somewhere!

I bought a couple donor trucks during the process to try and get an original tailgate in decent shape and couldnt find one, I ended up using a blank one as a place holder until i can find the real deal.

I agree on the hub caps but from what my dad told me, my grandpa always wanted chrome ones so thats why I went with them....Keep the nostalgia flowing.

BEAUTIFUL truck and a very nice story about both trucks. You're a lucky man. Feel free to leave the keys in that truck and send me your address. You did a great job!
