So I have found a new issue with my truck, I don’t have a clockspring, I have the part on the back of my steering wheel with the 3 brass circles but there’s nothing else, I pulled the wheel to see what the deal is and I can’t even find where it wires in. Should I order a new clockspring and hope that it helps me find the plug ins?
These trucks do not have a clock spring. There should be a holder with 3 brushes that mount in the collar, under the steering wheel, on the steering column, that follow the runs in the race track on the under side of the steering wheel. If the bearings in the steering column have gone bad, and been run that way for a long time, this can lead to a broken brush holder or broken brushes. You might find your problem with the brushes.

i hear you, but I don’t have the provision for it, there are 2 holes and the little race track on the wheel, but that’s it, there isn’t any loose plugs or anything of the sort, I’d throw some pictures up to show you what I’m talking about but I just got home off of a 24 hour shift so I’m not really in the mood to do anything, gimme a few hours and I can throw some pictures up.
The link shown says they have 5 available. I have no idea if Ford still sells them. The brush holder is held in place in the collar under the steering wheel with one screw.
