Jack ??

The stock OEM jack on the 2020 1 ton SRW will it lift the rear side of the truck with a full size slide in camper? Just thinking ahead wondering if i should pick up a 5-10 ton bottle jack

Yes, it should be rated for the lift per the GVW, but is your camper within the limits of the GVW of the truck, and how long and hard will it be to lift it loaded. I would highly recommend a good bottle jack, with a long enough reach and some dunnage for soft ground conditions if your "pulled of the road". I carry two jack stands and a hydraulic jack for the same reasons.

I've taken some weight off the truck by deploying the camper jacks to change a tire with the stock jack. Just remember to lift the jacks back up before you drive off. LOL

I would pack a bottle jack, it will be easier to use then the truck jack along with easier to get to in most cases. I have placed wood behind or in front of one of the tandem tires to get the other off the ground. Just back up onto it or pull forward depending on which tire is flat.

All great answers thanks guys. I really like that bottle and jack stand setup. Thinking I'm going for that one.

I ordered a hydraulic jack from a DRW truck off ebay and the mounting bracket from my local dealer. I used to carry two, but now only have to carry the one and it is in the factory mount location. Unfortunately I don’t recall the part numbers.

if you have a dually, two jacks are handy. I once had a flat on my prior 2010 f-450 and couldnt get the spare down. I replaced my flat front with one of the 4 rears . jacking up the side of the truck, made the swap easy.

I bought one of these from Costco.com. Shipped to the house for $99.

It will lift any corner of the truck effortlessly and FAST. I threw it under the front axle as a test and it took less than 20 seconds to have the tire in the air. Long enough cord to reach anywhere, has a light that shines straight up so you can see the frame, axle, etc. Small enough to fit under the back seat.

I think my jack from a DRW truck is a 6 ton and the OEM bracket for the SRW jack and the OEM bracket for the DRW jack change out with two bolts.
