I just ordered a 2021 Ranger Lariat FX4 and noticed that the engine bay looks odd without an engine cover.

Would anyone happen to know if there's an available cover? I wouldn't mind if it said Mustang, Lincoln, etc...

Any part number that would fit would be appreciated.

When I got my 2019 XLT model, only the Lariat came with an engine cover. Seeing as how I've opened the hood only rarely, I don't miss the cover.

I am from Alaska too. Wife just bought a 21 Ranger XLT. I ordered her engine cover from Levittown Ford in New York. It got here 3 days before the truck got here and about $45 cheaper than local dealers.

 

I just bought a used 2020 Ranger & it doesn’t have this engine cover.

I was a Svc Advisor at Ford Dealer for 10yrs.

a fellow co-worker told me their was a TSB For this & it was dropped for 2020 & later models.

The cover keeps water off of the coil packs to prevent misfiring / skipping issues.

idk the part # for the cover

 

Had to buy after the fact for my wife’s 2021 Ranger.

 

Looks like part # RGRENGCVRKIT is the
cover (L1MZ-6A949-A)
2 nuts & 2 studs all as a kit.

 

When I bought my 2019, only the Lariat models came with the engine cover.

i hope my local dealer is that reasonable.

I ordered the engine cover, bed mat, front tag bracket & an Eco Boost Badge for the tailgate like the 2019 carries.

 

I got my engine cover on yesterday.

i used a 1” diameter fender washer on topside under the 6mm lock nuts.

i figured it would be plastic but its rubber.
