Started my f350 tonight, check engine light came on, it threw 6 problem the pcm could communicate with abs module, seat restraint module, steering wheel module, and a few more, truck worked and drove fine , but light stayed on , I could use some of your guys opinions
I often see posts with recommendations to check the batteries first when this type of issue happens. Another source that can cause similar symptoms is water intrusion into some of the connectors under the bed, at the rear of the truck.
2019, I haven't driven the truck in the rain in long time, its stored all winter , I have driven it multiple times since pulled out of storage with no issues. I got a powertrain fault on Saturday ( the wrench) it went away after 10 minutes and tonight I get the check engine light
Shooting from the hip, sounds like water intrusion in underhood fusebox. There is a TSB out for it relating to the cover not sealing and water getting in, causing all kinds of crazy mayhem.
Try this video, worth a look.

I would start by checking all the harness connectors around the spare tire..Use electric cleaner and add dielectric grease to all connectors.. corrosion / moisture is possible.
Then I would check batteries, One or both could have issues..or just replace them.
check engine compartment for possible rodent damage
My mistake, overlooked that. Guess that's what I get for shooting from the hip LOL. I had just watched that video recently and it seemed to fit the bill.
The batteries could be bad ,its only 2 years old and had 15000 miles on it, I have driven the truck 3 times this week, I did remote start the truck tonight then this all happened. I dont know if that makes a difference

Honestly I'm not sure why only those years, I think the 17-19 have that part in the same or similar place. Maybe its a factory installation error on the 20+.
He's not one for words in the comments, but someone asked if that could happen on their 19, his response was no, only 20. 🤷🏻♂️
