I've my had 1975 F250 parked for the last few weeks. It's been upgraded to a Saginaw pump, modern power steering setup and hydroboost conversion. I went out today and started it up. While in the driveway as I depressed the brake pedal, I felt a pulsing and chattering. When I try to turn the wheel it feels as if I have no power steering at all while at the same time hearing a chattering/grinding from the engine bay.
Brake fluid was fine. Power steering fluid was a bit low so I topped it off. Ideas?
