New 12 Inch Sync Screen
I've been "dreaming" about how to put the larger screen in my 2017 Platinum F350, even if it was still Sync3, but using the new dash and connecting the radio and environmental controls. It looks like it would be some major surgery due to the main dash not having the same connector holes and it needing different vents, bezels etc. It would be a few thousand bucks probably to execute and for no additional features other than a different more modern look. But hey, people modify the front grills, headlights, etc just for a different look. Same functionality, just upgraded. I would love if someone came out with a kit to modernize the 2017-2021 dashes to the 2022 look. I'll keep crossing my fingers.

Guess all it really adds is wireless carplay? I'm thinking about picking up a 2021 F450 but would want to upgrade to a bigger screen. I've done the Sync 2 to 3 upgrades in my previous trucks, hard to believe that Sync 3 to 4 upgrade isn't possible
My advise is to let some folks try out infotainments upgrade before thinking of upgrading.
