So I have a 15 F350 PSD and I can't figure out why my truck builds boost (between 3-7 psi) when not on throttle. It doesn't happen all the time. But usually after passive regeneration. Is the DPF clogged? Is there a boost leak? Is it oil in the intercooler issue? I'm lost thanks in advance.
came back from a 3 hr trip last week and was having the same problem....idle and boost crawl. pulled a few of the intercooler pipes and found oil every where.
my dealer just did an oil change and had to get every last possilbe drop into the oil fill. I like to keep my oil on the low side so that its harder to get sucked in thru the CCV which is supposed to have an oil catch..but like the water sepereator....the oil catch in the CCV does not work either.
