good deal. can you order it with the pickup or is it a Ford parts item ?
You've been able to order with the truck since 2021 MY. It's a standalone option, though as noted above it is dealer installed at this point. The winch kit is shipped to your dealer ~2weeks before the truck gets there.
Thanks, I'm preparing an order on a new '22 this week so I'll ask. you can buy the kit for 3k so unless it's cheaper to buy with the pickup I'll probably just do that.
I have seen two different Tremors at the same dealership with the winch option listed at $3000 on the window sticker from the factory. Now maybe the winch is sent to the dealer ahead as posted above, I don't know. But usually when I see a factory window sticker and it posts the vehicles options and prices for those such as a Fx-4 package, Warn 12,000 lb.winch, those options came with the vehicle from the factory. I have seen this twice on the Warn 12,000 lb winch at this point. I have been looking at window stickers for a Tremor for about a year now and one week ago was the first time I saw a window sticker that listed the winch on a Tremor. Then to my surprise the dealer had two Tremors with winches available.
I have also seen dealers add a separate list of items the dealer installed and a list of prices for the dealer added on items. So I am new to the Ford window sticker game but I have seen two factory window stickers on Tremors with Warn 12,000 lb. winch. Which makes me think this is not a Ford Parts Counter order. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You can order with truck and as of now you can order separately for the same price from Ford Performance Parts, either delivered to your selected dealer or delivered to your door. I’ve done the latter, but it is as of now back ordered until April 9th and I ordered on 02/10😢

The winch kit is available as a factory option. It is also available through Ford Performance Parts.
if you add the winch option to a Superduty, it will appear on the window sticker. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t dealer installed. And to reiterate up this point all the winches are dealer installed.
I have only seen pictures of the setups. Looks functional while still maintaining a stock appearance.
That is what Ford are saying it is, but over on the Tremor forum the picture of the winch that is delivered is a 12 XP-S. The belief is that Warn modified a 9,500 XP-S to hit the 12k rating🤷♂️
The Winch is no different than some Tonneau Covers, Dash Cameras, or 5th Wheel Hitches. Accessories that are not built by Ford are usually sent directly from their Manufacture to the Dealership for Installation. It's always been this way. Show Rooms use to have a Ford Accessory Display area. Thats where you would pick the Rear Bumper and Mirrors for your Truck. Seat Covers, Fancy Hub Caps, Luggage Racks and Rear Antennas for your Mustang. Only difference today is, the display and description is your computer.
It is listed as wireless with provision for wired remote control. I believe only the Zeon winches are wireless, but I will know shortly.
The rubber plug you see on the right side of the fairlead is where the remotes connect. you get a wired, and wireless remote. To use the wireless remote you have to plug in a wireless receiver puck. The wired remote connects in the same way.
