Thanks

A word of thanks to everyone that has helped me with repairing or helping me to understand my 7.3 over the years.

I've been reading some of the old posts for the last few hours regarding different subjects. It struck me after reading for quite a while that there is so much knowledge here and people that are willing to be helpful that I felt compelled to comment.

I joined this forum back in 2007 because I didn't know jack about diesel trucks but I had just bought an 02 F350 4WD. Over the years I came here and received lots of help and guidance on making repairs to the old girl.

My job required lots of overtime and with a family to raise my time was always in demand. It didn't seem to matter that I would be absent from the forum for months or even years at a time, (when my truck was running fine,) the second I needed truck help there were folks here happy to lend a hand.

I still drive that same truck today and she's still running well. No, I'm not saying goodbye, just a heartfelt "Thanks".

For the record, The Tech folder is genius! A solid gold mine of knowledge.

Reps sent to you sir!

We are proud and grateful to have you and many others like you in this small corner of the interwebs. This place is unlike any other I have found. I have made some life long friends on here, as has my wife from meeting the families of FTE'rs. I have met many FTE'rs in person and many, many more virtually via phone call or text. We have plans to stay with or close to FTE'rs this summer as we travel the country with our 5th wheel being pulled by the tow pig 7.3L.

You are always welcome and we look forward to you being here for many more years!

Thank you Sous. You're right, lots of great folks here.

I hope to be here for many more years, like maybe 50 or so, that will make me 110. When I bought this truck I planned on it being my last one - I have a habit of keeping rides for long periods of time - my Harley is a '98....
