Had my 2020 F350 XLT 6.7 recalled to replace the backup camera.
Had the work done at the local dealer.
I did not test the new camera right away as I did not need to back up to leave the dealership. I did stop to grab a soda on my way home. When I backed out of that parking space, I noticed that the "guide" lines normally in the screen were no longer there. Called the dealer. Service man talked to a tech and called me back. Said "they had to reboot the computer so drive it a while and see if they don't come back".
It has been over 2 weeks and they've not returned.
I am about to call the dealer back to have it looked at/fixed but was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience??
Also, I seem to remember that there was a zoom function? There is a "plus" (+) sign on the screen that does nothing when tapped. I seem to remember it zoomed a bit to make trailer hitching easier, but maybe I am wrong on that? Thoughts?
I had a similar issue with my backup camera - the lines disappeared and the zoom function became inop after unplugging and reattaching the harness in the tailgate. Turns out the pins in that harness plug on the tailgate side were damaged. Replaced the harness everything is perfect. Wonder if they damaged a pin whilst performing the recall.

Going back to dealer next week for them to take a look. I'll mention what you have learned.
When I called today the guy said they've done dozens of camera recalls and I was one of only 2 that had this issue.
It makes what you are saying sound very plausible.
You can turn the lines on and off. Its in the settings for the camera.
After reading your post I looked into that in the truck. You are correct that they can be turned on/off.
Unfortunately for me, they are turned on but not functioning.
But thanks for the tip! It was worth taking a look at!

I had this exact issue when they did the recall on my ‘20. It was back to the dealer about 15 minutes later and they fixed it quickly. They said something about they forgot to initialize they new camera, or something along those lines. They had me in and out quickly after I returned.
Do all cameras have the guide lines? Have a 2020 F350 Chassis with camera that doesn't show lines. I will have to check the settings when in it next time.
Does this recall affect all 2020 trucks? I dont seem to see any recalls on my app.
In fact, Ive seen a few posts on here about recalls and nothing is showing up.
