Does anybody have a couple of these with the kick panel covers that they may want to part with? I snagged this pic from the web. I know many people have switched to AC, but I won't be making that leap for a while and I like the looks of these in there. Shoot me a PM with price if you do.
What year is your truck? 2WD/4WD? The cables were not used with 1965/66 F100/250 2WD and 1966 F100 4WD. The type that used the cables were a tall and narrow oval opening while the manually opened vents were sort of a triangular shape - the kick panel metal opening dictated which type since they don't interchange with each other. A person might be able to rig up something to open and close the triangular shaped vents with a cable but that might be a little odd.
