Ya that's true. I'm going to set the truck on the ground probably tonight if not tomorrow. I will post pictures on how everything sits once it's under its own weight.

Don't forget to roll it backwards and forwards and while rocking the steering wheel back and forth so the tires will spread out. If memory serves, I installed beam bushings and the radius arm bolts and bushings loose. On my first setup it had a castle nut on the radius arm so that was easy to just put in loose. I jacked up the beam to approximate ride height, snugged the radius arm bushing and then torqued the radius to I-beam bolt so there was no bind. I raised and lowered the I-beam at the spindle end to make sure it moved up and down freely. I did both sides like this and then loosened the radius arm bushings so I could drop the beams low enough to stick the springs in. I then raised the beams up high enough to get the shocks on to keep it all together. Again, if memory serves, dropped the truck down to load up the springs and bushings and then tightened everything. Probably not the shop manual way to do it but in my rebuilds and swaps it worked each time. If you tighten up bushings when the suspension is hanging there is a chance that the bushing will be tight enough to twist and load up when the truck is sitting a ride height. Might be retentive on my part but it can't hurt. If you've already tightened things, once it is sitting down, loosen, bounce it up and down, and re-tighten. I'm pretty sure I'm running the same springs that you bought and am very pleased with the height and the ride.

Ok just finished setting it back down. I know I still need to roll it and drive it to get suspension to settle but this is how it looks now.

The new shocks and spring raised the front about 2 inches.

Looks great! With it higher it almost looks like a 4wd!
I'm wondering, where did you get your bushings? I would like to get polyurethane bushings for my truck, and am wondering where to get them from. Are they from NPD?

After driving truck around the block the tires are now sitting correctly. Will post pictures tomorrow.
For the I beam bushing you reuse the steel sleeve, I recommend you just cut the old rubber out. I would not burn them out I did that on first one and it was harder to get it out. Tearing it out easier and faster.

I don't use a torch either. Takes too long and stinks. I use a hole saw to "saw" the rubber out.
