Hey guys, I’m back lol. I finally had time to pull the cover off, just undid everything and hooked it to a cherry picker. I pulled the cover off to that there in fact was silicone where it needed to be. I did find a small corner of the gasket was broken. Would that be enough to cause a major oil leak? And is this too much silicone? It looks like it spread out side the gasket slot, would that cause it to not mate well to the block?
