Need A Advanced Diagnostic Tool/Live Data/Scanner?
Wasn’t sure where to put this thread, considering my question isn’t for a computer chip or tuner so please relocate it if need be. Im looking for a advanced diagnostic scanner that can capture live data and be updated when requested. Theres so many (Snapon, Mac, Chinese Brands....). Im not a firm believer in $2000 diagostic tool being better than a $1000 but I will pay a pretty penny for one with solid reviews. Im looking to catch freeze frames, signal injectors, turn on/off fuel pumps etc. Any recommendations?

torque pro app for data capture and reading codes, forscan for making changes.
i use torque pro on the smart phone, and forscan on the laptop.
both can be bought with the necessary adaptors for around $150

Thanks for the recommendation! Unfortunately it looks like Torque app is only available on android and I use Apple products. The Forscan is new to me, I’ve never heard of it. Seems essential for true Ford motorists. I like the idea, but I need something more universal for a wider variety in vehicles (Ford, Chrystler, Nissan etc).
