Timing light pickup

I recently went to use my old timing light and the induction pickup was missing, I guess it got ripped off on our last move. Does anyone know where or if I can get another one?

Check with the manufacturer, different types of pickups are used with different systems. Otherwise check garage sales and check for a similar unit and consider yours spare parts or the other way around...

Pull one off your other broken timing light.
Seriously, the pickup is nothing more than an induction coil (amp clamp). You should be able to make one? let me ask around?

I've got a new light coming but I hate having anything that I can't fix and it's cost me a few dollars in the end. The light is a J.C Penny I bouhgt in Late '60's. I appreicate the help.

I just talked to a friend of mine who makes induction coils for the medical field. He says the cheapest way to get an induction coil is to buy a timing light.
