New PSD Owner

Hello all, came from three F150s, 95 5.0, 13 5.0 and 19 5.0.
This is my first super duty and PSD.
Picked up this 21 F350 STX FX4 PSD DRW Antimatter Blue a couple weeks ago.
No I don't tow a lot and no I don't drive a lot at this point (pandemic set me up as a remote employee). Wife and I plan on getting a travel trailer/5th wheel in the next couple of years and I figured overkill can't hurt.
I look forward to learning from this group as I did from the F150 Forum!

Beautiful truck, don't believe everything you hear about the diesel. Keep good fuel in it and def out of the fuel tank and you should be good for a long time. Cj

Very nice! Wait until you do tow with it. You will be trying to come up with things to tow.

To help yourself out, download the coffee book table on the truck. There are a couple of versions, I recommend all of them so you have good working knowledge of the systems and emissions.

As a rule of thumb, I never put fuel in and def at the same time. Use a ford filler spout for the def to prevent spillage.

Extra set of fuel filters on board is a good rule. Run it hard and it will perform better.

BE CAREFUL. other day here on the ranch I using a logger chain and hooks to drag some big logs I had cut. Chain fell off and hooked into the ground. Did not know, pull felt hard and I dropped in 4 Lo, 4:30 gears and nailed it and it created HAVOC! I had slowed the rotation of the earth, threw all the airline flight schedules out of whack, the day laster longer than it should have. What a mess. Well the next day I went back and hooked in and pulled in the opposite direction and the world is back to normal again....

LMAO 17 Oaks.
Most excellent looking truck. That would be my dream truck, I had to settle for a SRW because the city here about twenty years ago approved 8-1/2' parking spots, killed that idea.

Even out here in the country, when. I moved here in 1010 I could park almost any place, today its all been restripesd and I park in the outer 40 and walk...

Its a working truck, not a showpiece and if I did not NEED 450 would still be driving 450's

Thanks for the tips! I'll start downloading the coffee book tables tonight!
And I can only imagine how easy it will tow; MIL is getting up in age and I told the wife we need to take her to the Grand Canyon (she always wanted to go but hasn't) so we'll likely be renting a TT in the summer to make the 18h trip from TX. More excited about the road trip than the actual destination at this point lol.
