For those inquiring minds about Super Duty storage... the truck was parked (in my heated garage) on the third of November and not started until today March 8 at 10 a.m. It was in deep sleep according to the FordPass app and all I did was start it and back out of the garage. The was no battery drain or other problems at all,,, kudos to Ford and their electrical engineers for designing a system that works.
That's funny, my 2020 is in deep sleep mode after 2 days! Kind of annoying because I drive to work every other day, so the app never works for remote start. Sometimes I seem to be successfully getting around it by locking the truck with the key fob first, then starting the app, then starting with the app... however I still agree with the OP, this is much less annoying than my 2018 F-150 which for whatever reason got a dead battery twice after sitting for a week each time!
I keep my 2020 on a BatteryMinder while it sits in storage in my workshop and chose to disable the Deep Sleep Mode thru Forscan. I like to start it remotely from Fordpass every so often and it always seemed to be in Sleep Mode requiring me to physically go to my workshop to start it with a key. The documentation says it goes into DSM after 14 days but it seems like it did it sooner than that, not any more.
