Air dam

Can anybody tell me which ford f150 air dam to put on my f250 for more clearance or an aftermarket manufacturer?

I don't believe the f150 air dams will work. Most guys are either buying the 2wd super duty piece or one from a Tremor model if you have a '20+. You can also cut your existing dam down, that's what I did and it turned out good.

Agree, most are getting the Tremor valance or cutting their own.

Cut your own or get one from the 2wd model. I am not aware of any F150 air dams that can be used.

I installed the 2wd model on mine as well as removing the Prius catchers. The F150 air dam will not work, it is completely different.

Can anyone tell me what the air dams are actually for. I usually just take them off and pitch them in the garage.

It cuts down on turbulence under the truck, resulting in better fuel mileage. (Supposedly)

I'm a Ford employee, so I get a discount. I'm trying to remember, I'm thinking I was just over $100.

40x50, but not big enough. No matter how big you build them, you always fill them up!

Also creates a "low pressure" area under the engine area enhancing the cooling air flow thru the radiator stack.

I did the 2wd valance and prius catcher removal a month or two ago. Looks so much better. IIRC, the Tremor valance won't fit the 2017 F250 bumper (not sure what year you have).
