I studied this and came up with.............. My friend has a Dodge with 12 miles on it, started it and it jumped into gear and ended up in his kitchen.
Happened to me from an Aamco tranny rebuild. My dad and I had the hood up after rebuild, he was leaning on the passenger quarter on the side and I was in front juicing the throttle as something seemed off. It jumped into gear, ran over the ole mans feet I pivoted up and threw myself off to the side just before it slammed into my sisters boy friends Cherokee with the back up. Big mess. I missed being badly crushed by feet (it was about 15' away). Aamco paid for everything no questions asked, apologized. I was ready. Automatics, I have seen the inside of quite a few, way over my head.
