I can't tell you how many people come to me with old trucks and say they have been sent packing at other dealerships.

I am not sure which shock bracket it is, but one of them is a D3TZ-18169, and the other one is D8TZ-18169-A. It depends on F150 or F250, but I don't remember the stipulations.

P.S. The D3TZ is obsolete if I remember correctly.

Rear Shock Mount

Any luck finding shock mounts?

I am currently wheeling on 3 shocks...and can't find a shock mount for a highboy anywhere...

Catalog lists D3TZ-18169-B for F250 4X4 73-79, and all F350. There are still a bunch around the country, you might have your dealer run it on a locater and see if they can find one in your neck of the woods.

Shocjk Mounts

Okay,

Well I've been a member here for one day, and I already have a great success story...

Thanks to Duthler Ford parts finding me the part number for a upper shock mount for my 73 Highboy.

I called my San Francisco dealer, and had to do some begging for them to actually help me. BUT, I found many of them in Texas.

So, if you are looking for one of these (I bought two), call this number 1-800-816-2894. It's in Texas (Ford Dealership), they cost $11, and I'm suposed to have it in 3 days.
