2008 Leaf Spring Conversion

Planning on 2008 leaf spring conversion on my 2004 f350. My question is can I use a set of 2017 leaf springs for conversion? 2008 to 2020 leaf springs basically the same? All i need to deal with is move front hanger forward and relocated e brake cable.

The only big difference I’m aware of is 11+ you either run the u bolts round side up or remove the top plate so you can run u bolts with the round end on the bottom.

Copy that.
As far as I know 2008 and up leaf springs are essentially the same.

U Bolts seem to have been from bottom up pretty much forever. What is the benefit that Ford saw with flipping them and running them from top down?

I believe the 2017+ may use a larger bolt that goes through the spring to attach it to hanger, but you can simply drill out your hanger to the correct size.
