Just a note concerning the after effects of the Great February Freeze, F***-up & Fry at our home.
One of the replacement items is a new coffee maker, a Kureg combo standard drip/K-cup maker.
Which is pretty nice, makes good coffee. Kinda' neat design.
But in the last week I have managed to "make" coffee once with out pot under drip basket & once without using THE BASKET at ALL. (This AM)
Both times it was a hit start & walk away situation, but at least I managed to come back in under half the necessary brew time to discover the spreading mess.
Well, I guess I have that to look forward to. We have a Hamilton Beach Flex Brew. It takes nigh on an hour to perk a full pot..... slowest dang coffee maker on the planet.
And.... yes, I have filled the hopper with water, put in the grounds and pushed the button, then walked away. After about 15 minutes, I come back to find NOTHING in the pot. (The button is on single cup dummy)
SO... I agree.....
When I am ready for coffee.... I AM READY FOR COFFEE!!!!
It's an UGLY WET day here in the jungles of east Miss-a-sloppy. No sun shine yet.
What is this I hear about round 2 of the Tor-nasty weather we experienced last week?
Yes.... it was Alabama got that got the heavy end of that hammer BUT... all it needs to do is start 50 miles farther west and it will be on us.
Uggggggg
Good morning Miss-a-sloppy..hope you soon dry up.. started the 96 and moved it closer to the shop yesterday. Lawn is still pretty wet here and should have waited a few more weeks...lol
I saw this funny ball in the sky a few minutes ago...
It is really bright and hard to look at. might be some sort of a UFO....
We have some clearing right now.... Don't know how long it will last.
We had a BUNCH of rain yesterday. There was a lake that got too much rain yesterday, and the dam broke. Muddy water every where.
I sorta think folks around here would like to see the sun for a few days. We have had enough rain for a while.
my youngest son lives in Birmingham. They got hammered with tornados yesterday. 5 killed, several houses smashed.
Birmingham is in the central to northern central part of the state. That weather went diagonally thru B'ham on eastward up into the NE part of Alabama.
