You don't mention much that could be helpful in producing some responses. Like, is this a 150, 250 or 350? Or even an Expedition or Explorer.
If you click on the banner marked, "Forums" at the top left of your screen, you'll see it spills out to numerous sections. Click on the section that fits your vehicle, (2008), and then the subsection within the section, (like 2008 Superduty). That truck would fit under the section, "Super Duty/Heavy Duty" and the subsection would be "1999 to 2016", The folks frequenting these various sections are very knowledgeable and will be more than willing to help. Just give them all the information you have, so they can pinpoint the issue.
Don't forget to check out your state chapter too.
