Best of luck to the wife on the knee replacement ! Hear the knee replacement takes a lot longer to recover from than the hip . Hope she has an easier time than others !
Hi Bud. Mine went really well. As long as she does all of her home exercises, along with physical therapy, she should be fine. I was a few weeks ahead of the average patient, according to my physical therapist. The home exercises make a big difference, and I did them religiously every day. He said a lot of people don't, and it extends their recovery.
We stayed with my sister out in Virgina a few years back when she had one of hers knees done and you defiantly have to stay on them to do there exercises and stay away when the physical therapist gets after them.
I've got bone on bone in both knees. Was going to have one done a couple of years ago and wanted to do re-hab in Virginia. But, Doc said no. So I said no too.
Probably shouldn't have been doing some roofing this past Fall.
