Overall it was not too bad. Had some things to do Saturday morning and then the rest of it was wide open to do nothing other than some household stuff.
Morning Pat, all 'braska and visitors..... hope YOUR day goes well !
Welcome home again (and maybe for the first time) Vietnam vets .
Made me think back 1969 and the first time we were told not to wear our uniforms off the base. I was a 19 year old from Duluth MN and I really didn't understand at first but I also remember my dad picking me up at the airport and taking me to the bar, bar tender and my dad were both WWII vets so all was good.
Good morning all, happy Taco Tuesday! Windy as all get-out here again this morning, except now it's coming out of the north. Got up to 79 yesterday, may not make it into the 50's today. But, talking 70's again for the weekend. Time to start planning on when to bring the 67 home!
I picked the last time slot so I don't have to wait in a long line. When a friend got his, he said he was waiting in line for about 45 minutes.. (Outside line) I can sit in the car in the parking lot and watch the line go down. As the last one in line starts going into the building, so do I.
Good morning all, happy Hump Day! Had to take the wife to her doctors appointment this morning, Doc said she's doing well. She's cleared to drive also. For whatever reason, we are running one of our units today. ended up staying here until 7:30 last night, we had a relay fry on the other unit, so, we were here supporting the substation guys.
