I ordered from you and misplaced the box as I was in middle of moving. I finally came across it a few weeks ago and it's going on soon and will report back.

Just thought I’d revive this I do still have kits available and ready to go for anyone that needs them.

Then I figured why not just fix the broken tabs, I designed replacement tabs and a template to get get the holes drilled accurately in the original cowl, then took my Dremel and cut off the original tabs and drilled the holes.

Gave it a light coat of bedliner spray and mounted the up with stainless M4 hardware, good to go worked out perfectly. I didn't do the far left one that is on an angle since there isn't much material there to drill into and would have likely made it pretty weak in that area and when I was thinking through the design of the whole part I was thinking of not even extending it that far anyways, I would have just matched the far right side and used some wire loom or high heat wrap over the remaining wiring.

Are you still making these? I have a customer who’s in need.

Thanks

Hey Heckler I just came across this post. I’d like to try a set of your mounting tabs if you still have them. I’m not on here much but I’ll try and send you a PM.

Support local business.

Great job

They are. I bought a set a while back, even though I don't need it since I bought a new support a few years back. A well thought-out design.

I purchased the $20 "PIT66 Hood Cowl Panel Wiring Shield Compatible with Ford Super Duty F250 F350 F450 F550 2003-2010 3C3Z-14A099-AA" from Amazon (

). The quality seems okay. Only time will tell how long it lasts.

When I installed it I decided to eliminate those stupid plastic Christmas tree plugs from my life. I despise those things. I used the holes for the plugs and installed some U-nuts/Speed-Nuts and then bolted the support down. I was very happy with the results and the whole thing just feels much sturdier.
