Hi,
Does anybody know the deal on Amazon business accounts? I've seen a few items that they only sell to business accounts. The claim is that you can set one up in a minute. Not at all sure what they're doing.

This might be a way to avoid paying sales taxes on purchases if they'll be sold by the purchasing business?
I've never looked into it myself, no interest in selling to the general public especially on-line.

Well, I finally found a non Amazon reference (ZDNet). It is normally free and is designed for business purchasing. You do have to verify that you are actually a business.They do offer some products only to business account holders. I was curious because I ran into a couple of items that I wanted, but they were reserved for business account holders. Not sure how they decide what to list, but the ones I ran into were some fairly cheap deals. I think that they hoped that businesses might want to order a bunch of them for some promotion or the like,'
