Private Franchising?

anybody ever heard of this... I was approached by one of my customers about this. I'm listening to the CD right now, and I'm going to a meeting tomorrow.

It sounds like an Amway thing, but its not.

What's the name of the company? Amway also goes by Alticor and Quixtar nowadays. I've known plenty of people that have tried to sell me an Amway franchise, but I've never met ANYONE that actually sold any Amway products!

http://www.quixtar.com

They don't sell anything through the site, and I'm not involved as of yet, and I'm probably not going to be.

The way he describes it, the business would allow that guy that owns 37 Subways to sub franchise out a few of those restaurants.

Thanks, Jeff, I did know that Amway changed their name, but now I know what it is.

Thats the real problem with Amway, they actually have a few good products, but everybody would rather sell you the franchise instead of the products.

Careful, the only person getting rich quick is the one who is selling to you. I went to an AMWAY or what ever it is, sat through the thing. Then I startred asking HARD questions. It is a pyramid scam! I say if it looks like an alligator, walks like an alligator, ya gonna get bit!!!

Many years ago, I was an Amway distributer. It started out as something to do in my spare time and grew into a lucrative business based on selling products. When I reached a level known as Direct Distributer (at that time about $9000. a month in sales), I flew to Ada Michigan, toured the plant and met the founders. I was very impressed with their integrity and the quality of their products. My distributorship grew and expanded to nine states, but the necessity of constantly recruiting, training, motivating and administrating a growing group began to interfere with my primary occupation so I backed off and eventually quit. It was a rewarding experience, and I made some money, but Multi Level Marketing is not something I would recommend.

Private franchising is just that!!! YOU...Start your OWN franchise, not someone else! You finance it. Your ideas, work ethic, etc. Not someone else's on a CD???? Sounds like 10 ft. of BS they are feeding you.
