trans cooler line
Hey all,
Just a quick one.
The 2 lines that attach to the DR rad. Is there supposed to be rubber o rings there? I thought I saw rubber on it when i pulled the rad but that was a week ago and i am not seeing anything laying about and nothing in the old rad.

The OE setup - the flared line & tube nut go into a "tube connector" that has an O-ring on the female side, then the male side of the connector goes into the cooler in the radiator, using thread sealant. You can but a whole new tube connector or refurbish what you have for not much money or effort either way.
Be sure to use an appropriate thread sealant for the service. I suspect the OE material is graphite paste, but don't know for sure.
