My OBS F150s bed has seen better days, namely salt, firewood, a deer and more salt. Beds around here are selling anywhere from $6-$800 for a halfway decent bed. Then you'll have to do body work and paint. So I'm thinking a "custom" flatbed would be sweet. I've seen some awesome looking wood flatbeds, but don't have my mind totally set on a wood bed.
Anyway, if you post your pics that would be great!
TIA
Yes it does, I had an engine out of 91 in there a straight six 300. I put the intake and exhaust off of a 19 70 on it with the 1 bbl and the trans out of a 68 it was a 5 spd. The only reason got it was the previous owner couldn't get it to shift into gear so he threw the trans away and parked it in the neighbors yard for a few years. It had a brand new clutch. All it needed was a pilot bearing and a used trans from pull and save and it ran . But the radiator had a blob of jb weld in the radiator and it kept overheating. It had some rusty weight reduction going but it gave it character. I miss that truck.
