Well this looks different, are you using the most current version? The PCM is not supported because forscan doesn't have access. No worries there because the BMS is in the body control module BdyCM . You can push a full reset to the body control module but you will need to clear the code first.

if I take it in for service...it’s going to cost me vacation days, rentals, and 90 minutes of drive time each wAy
alternator could fry on the way

correct
all I need to do is swap pcm connection
dont need to physically move the alternators
will be making the cables sat that will let me test this
