'94 interchange into '91?

I have the stock AM/FM cassette unit out of a 1994 F150. Would this mount in the dash of a 1991 F250, and if so, are there any major problems to contend with?

Or would it just be better to buy a decent aftermarket unit to put in the F250? Right now it has no radio at all (previous owner had a CD player in it and took it when he sold it to me), and all I am looking for is something that will play music and fit into the hole in the dash.

Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Ford used the same size HU from 87-96/7 on all f-series trucks so they will interchange. the 94 HU will most likely be a little different looking then a stock 87 but it'll still work with the same harnesses. u could also buy a bottem line HU that has a CD player that has a single DIN size. it just depends if u want to spend a little $$.
