BDP R&D Platform!

Introducing blue, our new to us 2011 6.7 Powerstroke! @SkySkiJason found this beast of a 6.7 for our R&D needs and was kind enough to handle the deal for us. I can't express how grateful we are to have such a genuine person to call a friend! @SkySkiJason is usually helping members in the 7.3 forums, but I hope he makes his way over here.

Cool looking ride. Looks like it's lowered. Two wheel drive?

First on the R&D to-do list is to install our Vegistroke V4 straight vegetable oil conversion kit on it.

its my understanding that the pre- 3/2011 build date 6.7's dont have the re-engineered exhaust valves? Any concern for that? There have been a few (more than normal) that break, and destroy the engine. 3/2011 is when Ford came out with the redesigned head/valve assembly?

We don't have any engine plans at this time, but if we do lose this one we'll build the next one for more power! Has anyone updated their head/valves?

Flew Dad down to get blue. He made it home to Wisconsin where it's much colder than GA. Dad went to leave in the morning. Temperature was -15°. Truck was plugged in and fired right up. Truck ran for 15 minutes then died. Truck would not start.
