Those 1st gen 6.7s are known to get better mileage than the 2nd gen 6.7s. I wouldn't be complaining either. Does she have the stock turbo on the truck, do you know?
Installed Morimoto headlights, Ford factory fog lights with ambient light sensor and factory filter delete today. Pulled MPROP to check for a dying pump and started work on the Vegistroke manifold mount.
Nice work. Keep us posted. I'm curious... could you get some shots of those Morimoto's at night driving down the road? The price has always been an issue for me and reliability as well. What I don't like is you can't replace an LED if one or more goes bad. How long's the warranty?
I'm sure those headlights are much brighter than mine but I'm going to buy those Diode Dynamics SAE led fogs which will help.
Besides, if I'm paying a thousand plus for headlights, they better last at least 5 years. Maybe 8 years. Just being honest here. It really does suck that they built those as one time use only. I think they should develop a 2nd gen with replaceable LED modules.
Insurance savings from the DRL. No one makes a better headlight than Morimoto. Most modern vehicle owners are going to get to a point where they will need their LED lights fixed. There are already companies that will repair headlights.
