Does anyone have a KNOWN good IDM that i can borrow? I will gladly reimburse any shipping and will send it back with a gift card or cash and a little extra as a thank you. NO CODES but am fed up with this damn miss! It HAS to be IDM related...AE shows NO CODES but is now intermittently showing #8 as below required voltage...UVCH are only 22,000 miles old. But all connections are good n tight...In Altoona, PA

Yessir....Been through every wire on the harness looking for resistance and rub marks....even did a small door cut on my inner fender to allow instant access to the IDM...it was clean and dry and all connections were then lubed with DiGrease...found some rubbed through wires in the typical locations years ago..most places had just started which wasn't bad for the year and the vibration issues with wiring. Hence my frustration. there is just no more a scanner is going to tell me...time for old school mechanic'n...look for the MOST likely culprit. I'd rather spend hours on a right diagnosis than 10 minutes multiple times over chasing the wrong one. Funny tho the older international Lo ride cabs with the 7.3s i have never found a harness issue on...seen it many times on the MaxxForce engines. Most likely going to do the IDM and get INTERNATIONAL UVCH gaskets...all the insulation is pulling away from the plug ends from heat/oil...typical for cheaper ones..They may work but that doesn't mean they work right. All wiring is NOT the same...for all i know a lobe got worn down on the cam...
