[img alt="I paid $1,500 for a CNC ported Ford 300 head from ProMAXX and it showed up cracked near a water port and bolt hole. I hadn’t even torqued it down — just set it on the block — and found the damage. When I contacted them, instead of standing behind their product, all they did was blame me.

After spending this much money and waiting this long, I expected accountability, not finger-pointing. At this point I can’t recommend them — if you get a defective part, don’t expect support."]https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ford-trucks.com-vbulletin/2000x1504/img_6247_714e7b564f13ac7dc20c68c503327a32a8f8b656. jpeg[/img]

We are now getting the Promaxx CNC ported head from Chris Staub of Straub technologies.
Straub Tech is installing lighter 8mm valves with valve stem guides that have the proper clearance along with matching valve springs for the selected roller camshaft.
The heads also get inspected for any defects.
