Wide track was only available with "max tow package" F-350 (of course also the F-450). Things that make the "Max tow" are 1 ) dually 2) 4:30 gears . These are the two basic items you need. You will also get the extra wide front fender flares to help with the turning radius. Also, I thing the "wide track" F-350 went away in either MY 2015 or 2016

Yup........ “TOW BOSS” was the term I was trying to think of. And you are correct, MY 2016 was the last year.
I think this one belongs (or belonged) to a member here on FTE.

The wide track F350 was only available for two years 2015 & 2016. This was a rebaged F-450 as Ford severely neutered the F-450 from 2011-2014 and it rode on the F-350 platform with 8 lug wheels. The revised F-450 arrived in 2015 and lasted just two years. The 2017+ trucks received the smaller rear axle that's shared with the F-350 DRW.

I'm helping a friend try to find one of these, and I have to call BS - the wide-track was available on the DRW's in 2008 and 9, and then 2011 to 2016 MYs... Please correct me if I'm wrong... I'm hoping to find a '15 or '16 4x4 F350 6,7 WT for him...
I know, Late to the party.
But the widetrack was available from......
08-10 on F350 duallys. They had the large front fender flare if they had the wide track axle, but the widetrack was an option, not standard
The 05 current F450/550, large front fender flare
15/16 F350 duallys, again had large front fender flare if they had the wide track axle, but the widetrack was an option, not standard
The 11-14 F450 Pickup also had the wide track axle but came with 17" wheels like the f350
Tie rods at the treaded part are 1/9/16"(NON wide track is 1-3/8)
Wide track knuckle(the part that moves) is 12" tall, NON wide track is 10.75" tall
