Is there anyone that can measure the distance from the ground to the low beam portion of their headlamp on a 2017-19 stock height truck with LED lamps? My truck is lifted and I need to adjust the headlamps but I would like to know the measurement from a stock height truck. Mine is a 2018 250 4x4. Thanks in advance.

2" drop @ 25' of center line of low beam.............right. Regardless of lift. Can't help on stock height I have halogen.
Crotchety is about right, 2” drop, 25’ out, but perfectly level ground, both lights should be dead ahead straight. If your truck is lifted, measure top of beam in front of truck, measure 2” down from there, use your own lifted height. 2” down might not be enough for a lifted truck. See how well it works, then lower another inch. Problem with lights being to high up is all your light goes straight out to nothing. Only gets bounced back to your eyes if there is an object on the road. Aiming lights to get the most from them is very important to get the best lighting, and it doesn’t blind the oncoming traffic.
