Just saw these on another forum, does anyone have experience with them? I see they are a fair bit more expensive than the usuals, but they look pretty heavy duty. Just wondering if anyone has tried one?
Nice looking, but pricey. I bought a Dee Zee black nylacord rubber mat, $125 USD shipped to the door. It’s aprox 3/8” thick. Been using them for over 30 years.
I bought them and I think they are very good. I have the dee zee in my F150 and the black armor in my f450. The black armor are very thick (~3/4 inch). Great non-skid surface.
If you haul anything heavy (concrete, cinderblock, etc), the bed gets damaged over time from the weight. At least this happened in my 2011 F350. My hope is the black armor will help cushion and distribute the weight better.
