Frame Rivet Size???

I came up empty searching online. Anyone know what size rivets hold our frames together? I'm looking to replace what needs it on my spring perches when the motor comes out this year.

Thanks! I recall putting half inch bolts in a 78' when I installed extended radius arms. I just can't remember if that required drilling to 1/2" or not. I might bump it to half anyways for the hell of it.
WILL REPORT BACK WITH PICTURES (it will be a while) . This weekend is going to be high flow fuel pumps in tank. That should keep you guys entertained for a little. Eyes out for a couple month old fuel pump thread, If interested.

I’m not sure how drilling a larger hole in the frame is better. The six 7/16” grade 8 bolts holding it on are more than strong enough.

When I replaced mine, the holes seemed sloppy for a 7/16, so I opened them up for a 1/2" grade 8 bolt. The fit was better, and the fastener cost is pretty much moot.

7/16 is dead nuts on.

On that note (and this you won't believe) --- pulled a 390 out of a truck recently and found 3/8-16 bolts holding the bell housing "on". For that application, the Ford Engineers originally called for 7/16-14 bolts -- how the H someone could thread this on (they were all the way in, still "in" there when I got to it --- LOL) is beyond my comprehension.

I'm sure the dirt and grease helped whoever thread those in, keep in place --- Maybe the earlier "mechanic" used some bubble gum to help "secure" - not sure.
