Leaf Spring Mount Pad

I just wanted to post here and ask a question.
I've scoured the internet for the center line dimensions for leaf spring mounting perch on a HP Dana 44 Front and a Dana 60 rear off a 1978 F250. I keep consistently coming out with 31.75” front and 44.75” rear from my own measurement but all over the internet I keep finding number like 32”, 31.5” for the front and 44.5”, 45” for the rear. Do spring perches vary that great between truck to truck? I know things are mass produced but .25” (or .5” from other sources) either direction is a huge amount of tolerance. Especially when I hear it echoed over all the forums I read about how important suspension geometry is. Maybe
.25” tolerance isn’t that big of a deal and being a fabricator that’s used to .0625” of tolerance it just seems like a lot. Any input would be great. I also know I am human and could very well be messing up my own measurements.

Thanks!
