my question is this last yr i had a issue back in oct when i stopped at at intersectiony truck would die and rough start when fired back up threw p288f codes amd a few more took to my local tech and they found a bad fuel sensor changed that got it back 2 days later it still did the same thing soooo i took it back they kept it for 2 months found out the sensor off the fuel pump had small fine metal shavings on it so i called my warranty and they came out and did there thing ended up covering a brand new fuel system i had to pay for some fuel filters and my deductable truck ran great fast foward to last week had been running spe hot tune and driving home lastweek running about 55-60 mph my cel came on p288f code popped up i cleared it and ran it for another 2 days code popped back up so i decided to switch tunes to the tow tune ran that for 5 days with no issues at all decided to change it back to hot tune today and 5 mins in to my descent home the damn code popped back up again and thats where iam at currently i have messages into spe about this issue but was wondering if anybody on here has any input on how to fix this issue sorry for the long post
Maybe start with checking/changing the fuel filters. If there dirty you could get low fuel pressure on a hot tune. Go on your exiling gauge dash and monitor fuel pressure and see if it drops at all at wot. It should not.
