Headlight question
99 f250 superduty
my headlights are on any time the ignition is turned on. Is there a mod to allow the headlights to actually turn off when switched off? They reduce power but never turn off completely when switched off. Sometimes i don't want my lights on.....lol

I'm guessing that the truck is Canadian spec with daytime running lights (low powered dip beam) if you look in the owners manual, it shows which fuse controls the DRL's, remove the fuse.

It just controls the DRL function, try it, it's been done on my truck which is Canadian.

I find myself pretty mechanically able to do most repairs on my vehicles. Have my whole life. Occasionally something comes along that is so stupid simple of a fix that you're left feeling like an idiot. That's me today!! Yes, find the DRL fuse, pulled it, and behold, the lights work as they should now! All these years.....lol. i was expecting some custom wiring hacks or something.
