I have a 2020 F250 with halogen headlights. I am looking to swap the reverse lights with LED bulbs. I have tried several of the 7440 bulbs and none of them will fit into the socket. The factory bulb has WT21W on it.

Am I missing something?
Thanks!

I don't know that LED makers have caught up to this yet. I just checked out SuperBright LED's website, which is usually a good reference even if you don't buy there. Their menu goes no higher than the 2019 model year.
I'm pretty sure I swapped out the LED reverse bulbs that I had in my 2019 to my 2020. But it's too cold for me to want to go out to the garage and pull it apart to check. SuperBright is showing a 7440/7443 for 2019.
OK Mike, I checked things out and I'm sorry to say that I mislead you. I've changed so many things over light wise on 2017, 2019 and my current 2020 that I guess I forgot what I did and did not do.
My reverse lights are indeed the incandescent Sylvania WT21W or 3439 bulb. I hadn't changed over to LED. However, I did find the LED's that were in my 2019. They're a pigtail style with a rubber flange around the bulb that will fit into the hole of the lens assembly.
I tried popping one in. I think it would probably work, but I'd like both the base and the rubber flange to be a little more secure so I don't think I'm going to install them.
No luck in that thread for '20 or '21 by the look of things. At least not without trimming the base on a 3157. Been down that road with front turn signals in the past. Didn't like it. They worked but I never thought they were secure enough and wrapped the base with electrical tape.
But on the bright side for the front I found a 4257 switchback from GTR Lightning that snapped in beautifully. The search is still on for reverse lights.
If you need an incandescent because of a burned out bulb I guess you would have to. As far as LED replacement, which I would do, there doesn't seem to be an option yet. At least not one that I'd be satisfied with.
I also did the trimming thing on the sockets and still had to tape the lights in and that is cheesy IMO. I put very bright LED bars under the bumpers but don't want to have to turn them on in parking lots and places like that.

Not to hijack this thread, but did you replace any of the other bulbs like signal, and brakes? if so, what did you end up using?
I think that 3157 bulb from Alla will fit all of the above (obviously, in different colors).
