I did the bulb swap and didn't really like the result; Was brighter, but I still wanted more. I went with the VLed plate light and this thing is very bright and got me where I wanted. No problem at all backing the trailer in the dark now........................RR

I left the rest alone especially the headlights. Factory headlights now are way better than they were years ago....
Fair enough... I am installing an Atomic Game Changer light flasher for my roadside work so I want some bright LEDs to flash. I think the 3157s will fit both reverse and signal sockets by trimming the ears. I will create a thread with everything once the weather warms up and I can actually do an install... currently -12 C and while that isn't super cold, plastic is less forgiving when things drop below freezing so I don't want to risk it.

I've got 3156/3157 dual function LED for the tail/brake lights in my 2020. Also used them in the 2019 I had previous. No trimming of the base. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...fit/3557/7523/ Just remember to match bulb color to lens. Red bulb to red lens, for example.
For front turns I have 4257 switchbacks from GTR Lighting. I found that the 7440/7443 didn't work with out grinding away some of the base for front turn/parking lights. Even then the fit was crappy. Enough that I didn't trust it and wrapped with electrical tape. I'm not going down that road again. If they don't snap in securely I don't want them. I've played the game of fishing a bulb out of the headlight housing because it wasn't secure enough in the socket.

The license plate light looks awesome. Can you post the link where you got it? Thanks

Ghost,
Just to clarify, did you wire to the taillight or the reverse circuit in the trailer plug? And do you have factory LED lighting or halogen?

Thank you

It comes with a plug and play wire lead, I think 3 foot or so and a wire quick connect. Routed it to the drivers side tail light assembly, removed tail light from truck and used supplied wire tap and installed. Factory Halogen in my tail lights now.........................Sorry for the confusion Sir....................RR

I would go with the 4257, but I don't want a switchback to white. I want to run amber running lights to match my cab lights and mirrors. Are 3157 the same base size as 4257?

Have you got pics of that being used in the dark?

I don't believe a 3157 will work in the front turns. Here's a link to GTR. You can get amber, red, white or switchback. Pricey, but I think it's for a set of 2. I used 2020 F250 with halogen headlights for reference on this site.
