I am having an issue with my Sync system in my 2015 F350, it keeps changing screens and then locking up. Any fixes or replacement ideas? Dealer worked on it once but it's getting worse.
make sure you have the latest update, if the update site says you do check with another computer, doesnt make sense but neither does how the roll out the updates.
Reset sync around 3-5 times, maybe go as far as killing all power so it has to reset, I pulled all the fuses, after that it works as intended, is it what I expected no, seems the 16 year old IT guy has no real world knowledge of how REAL people want things to work, in the end it works much better, there have been the occasional hiccups but overall works a lot better after the power reset.
Yup, that's how it is, reboot it a few, maybe more than a few times, eventually it will actually started working right.
Those 16 year old IT guys at Ford just don't know anything but ones and zeros..
The hardware (APIM) is likely the problem. My 2015 Expedition did the same. No amount of reboots or fuse pulls fixed for more than a day. I just upgraded to the Sync 3 system. There's a lot of info on here about how to do it and what parts are needed.. At the same time, I upgrade my 2013 F350. It saved me about $70000 doing the upgrade myself. Usually I'd go get a new truck for the new technology.

Haha, I fit the bill, ill usually spend 400x to alleviate the problem, it's amazing the wife hasn't left me yet..
